I don't know how much truth there is to this story, but supposedly some guys made a large flying saucer for grins and flew it over a city in Poland. The video certainly looks cool.
If true, it could be the beginning of a series of grand UFO hoaxes based on this technology.

That's an awesome saucer this guy made! This may be the "beginning of hoaxes based on this technology", but obviously people have been faking UFO's for a very long time.
Have you been keeping up with the UFO claims in Stephenville, Texas? The story doesn't seem to be going away. It's certainly not as fun-filled and high-tech as your story.
BTW, my b-i-l met us in Galveston Island during our vacation and decided to create a low-tech 'UFO Project' with my son, (he's such a good influence ). He bought a helium container, a bag of green balloons and green glowsticks. They put the glo-sticks inside the green balloons and flew them in the dark over the house, making weird mechanical noises. It looked pretty odd; though I'm not sure it looked like an UFO. lol They had fun though. And who knows, maybe in a few decades Q will be making flying saucers of his own. |

No, I haven't seen anything about them for a while now. It's not unusual for sightings to continue in an area, once the locals start looking for things. Either because of the power of suggestion or because whatever caused the sighting in the first place is still happening.
For example, once the guy in Clearwater (Clear Water?) Florida started faking UFOs and selling photos, there were dozens of other reports from those not involved in the scam.
Sigh. 8-<
So what's been happening in S-ville of late?

That makes sense.
"So what's been happening in S-ville of late?"
Several of the people from the town were on Larry King on July 11th (again). They claim that it was a 'mass sighting' of some sort. They also claim that one man was threatened by the military so he would stop talking to the media. One thing that bothers these folks a lot is that the Air Force says they were not in the area the night of the sightings. Then 16 days later they said that they were in fact flying in the area. lol! Typical government ineptitude, of course, but it makes the folks in S-ville feel even more paranoid. Anyway, you can watch the interview here if you're interested:

Apologies. Should have been LGMs, meaning LGM plural.
It stands for Little Green Men which is what, anecdotally, Jocelyn Bell and co initially named the radio sources that eventually turned into our first evidence of pulsars. |

Oh dear! Looks like I was over-thinking things to the point of missing the obvious....again. To be honest I've been flat-lining a lot lately. |
