Teens charged in murder of father of four

Why is this happening with teens more and more? I blame it on the itnernet and youtube. They think it's fun to do and record. What's your take on this?

Tragedy hijacked to become part of the media bandwagon du jour. 'Oh, look, another murdered Latino caught on camera! Quick, we have to follow the crowd and report on it.' Lose the YouTube, and the reaction would be 'So what? That's a local story.'

Compare the number of such incidents to the population of teenagers before you panic. What's probably happening is that these little shites would do it anyway, but now they're recording their nonsense (making them easier to catch). These kids have heard anti-immigrant and anti-Latino crap for years, and now it's in the news. Blacks and Jews are no longer acceptable targets for bored psychopaths, so they assault those who haven't been granted 'human' status in the public mind. People will jump up and defend them with excuses about lost jobs and crime rates and the perceived 'otherness' of their victims. When they were younger, their parents probably gave the unintended message that it was okay to harm Latinos.
